About Nick
Nick hails from South East London, moving down to the East Kent riviera some 3 years ago. Had he known Pete Welsh lived there too, he would have considered John O'Groats as an alternative!
A lifelong Chelsea fan (yes I was born within 5 miles of the bridge, I'm not a "bandwagon" supporter!)
Nick had no interest in music whatsoever, until he was on his way to school one morning and heard on the car radio, a certain 6 minute single that changed his life irrevokably.."and now there's the opera section darling..."..no more clues needed.
Nick has played guitar since the age of eighteen (10 years lol), and since this time has been through more gear (MUSICAL GEAR!!) than er...anyone. A self confessed gear slut, if it's new and sparkly, he has to have it. He tells us though that his current gear set up is a keeper for good. Yeah, right!
Whitesnake fan though Nick is, if you'd asked him were he to join a tribute band, this would not have been his answer. Yes, the mighty Queen are his biggest musical influence, and he expected to line up in front of at least 1 Vox AC30, build himself a guitar from an old fireplace, and stick his finger in the socket to achieve the required coiffeur.
Still, "I love doing Whitesnake stuff because there's so much variety, melody, ballsy hard rock, blues, power ballads..the utlimate melodic rock band IMHO"
